CHALLENGE: Sending a lead to another hotel can be tough with so many options, and if the agent isn't familiar with the market or conditions, it's easy to miss out on a closed referral by targeting the wrong property.

SOLUTION: By analyzing tens of thousands of completed business referrals using AI technology, insights were gained into successful lead conditions for the various properties. I applied this knowledge by sorting properties with the highest probability of sales closure at the top of the map selection list, nudging the sales agent in the right direction.

CHALLENGE: The organization's utilization of a loose Waterfall methodology across projects, irrespective of their scope, limited iterative development, impeded Go-to-Market opportunities, and stifled stakeholder engagement. Additionally, the project management team lacked training in Agile methodologies.

SOLUTION: Kanban proved the easiest and most effective method to introduce Agile methodology. Real-time boards empowered project managers to optimize resources, break down projects into manageable tasks, and maintain stakeholder alignment, enabling perpetual testing and a stronger Go-to-Market strategy with reduced risk and better control of timing.

CHALLENGE: HITEC, a premier hospitality industry conference, needed to amp up engagement and manage attendee navigation.

SOLUTION: Efficiency is the key, and in this case, it meant analyzing previous event and exhibitor data to craft a practical path for attendees to follow. Mobile and web apps were created using shared resources to cut down on maintenance, while giving users the flexibility of choosing their preferred platform. Geolocation and mapping data were used to bring an interactive scavenger hunt to life, enabling control of traffic. Lastly, the app was launched early to streamline the registration process, reducing the initial conference surge.

CHALLENGE: The hospitality sector showed promise for a lead-sharing platform. But, navigating its mix of software, like CRMs and sales trackers, was a real puzzle. Plus, a long-standing client relied on our limited-functionality sales tool.

SOLUTION: To tackle this, I devised a comprehensive plan to migrate everything to Azure, addressing performance, scalability, and security head-on. I architected custom APIs to integrate with a variety of third-party vendors for efficient data management. Leveraging SQL automation, IdP integration, and a powerful development framework, we significantly reduced resource expenditures by refactoring old code. Additionally, we revamped the UI for modern audiences and employed automated translation services to ensure global readiness.
