These Terms of Use cover the drft website and copies of the drft macOS app provided by ndrws LLC. A separate license supplied with your copy or required by the store where you obtain it takes precedence if it conflicts with these terms.
You can use drft for personal and work tasks on Macs you own or are authorized to use. Your documents and other app content remain yours. Purchase terms, if offered, will be shown before checkout.
Your agreement
When these terms are presented for acceptance during installation or purchase, accepting them forms an agreement with ndrws LLC. If you do not agree to the applicable license terms, do not install or use that copy of drft.
The browser preview uses sample windows. It illustrates the app’s controls and does not manage real windows. The website currently provides no public purchase or download.
Using the app
For a copy supplied directly under these terms, ndrws LLC grants you a limited, nonexclusive license to install and use drft for personal or business purposes on Macs you own or control, subject to any license scope presented with that copy. You may keep reasonable backup copies.
This license lets you use the app. It does not transfer ownership of drft’s code, branding, artwork, or other developer-owned materials. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the app without permission, except where a separate applicable license or the law permits it.
You may not remove ownership notices, bypass applicable license restrictions, or use drft unlawfully. Nothing in these terms limits rights granted by an open-source license for an included component or rights that applicable law does not allow a contract to restrict.
Your work stays yours
drft arranges windows belonging to other applications. It does not claim ownership of documents, code, images, messages, or other content in those windows. Using drft for commercial work does not require a separate content license from ndrws LLC.
The terms of the other apps and services you use continue to apply to their content and features.
Permissions and compatibility
The current app requires macOS 14 or later and uses Accessibility and Input Monitoring permissions for window management and input controls. You choose whether to grant those permissions and can revoke them in System Settings.
Window behavior depends on macOS and the applications being managed. Some apps, dialogs, protected windows, or operating-system changes may limit what drft can move, resize, or focus. Compatibility with every app, display arrangement, or future macOS version is not guaranteed.
You can pause or quit drft to stop its window management. Keep your normal document backups and save work in the apps where you create it.
Purchases, updates, and refunds
If drft is offered for sale, the price, included license, any device limits, and update entitlement will be stated before purchase. Final purchase details will appear at checkout. This preview does not promise free future major versions.
Refunds are governed by the terms disclosed at purchase, any applicable store rules, and your statutory consumer rights. These terms do not remove a refund or other remedy required by law.
If you obtain drft through a marketplace, its mandatory terms also apply. For an App Store copy, the Apple Standard End User License Agreement applies unless a different applicable license is presented. This does not imply that drft is currently available on the App Store.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains the information drft uses locally, its permissions and diagnostics, and how this website and support correspondence handle information.
Third-party materials
drft and this website include materials that remain subject to their own licenses, including fonts and icons. Those licenses continue to apply. Website copies of the Manrope font license and Lucide icon license are available for reference.
Warranty
To the extent permitted by applicable law, drft and this website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without additional warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Nothing here excludes a warranty, guarantee, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ndrws LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, business interruption, or loss of data, arising from use of drft or this website.
These limitations do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, or other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Your mandatory consumer rights remain in effect.
Ending use
You may stop using drft at any time. A license provided directly under these terms may be terminated for a material breach, with notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach where required by law. If your license ends, you must stop using the affected copy. Terms concerning ownership and responsibility for past use continue where applicable.
Changes to these terms
Updated terms will be posted with a revised date. Material changes will be presented for acceptance where required. Changes do not remove rights already granted with a purchased license or statutory protections.
If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
