Can I use it without drft?
Yes. rcll works on its own, with layouts for one display or several.
Can it open specific documents?
Yes. Pick a file and its opening app. rcll reuses a matching document window or opens the file. If it can’t identify the window, you can choose it. Missing files can be located again.
Will URLs open in separate browser windows?
Your browser’s settings decide whether links open in tabs or windows. Separate layout regions need separate windows. rcll opens saved URLs; it doesn’t restore your full browser session.
Will it close other windows?
No. Unrelated windows stay open when you recall a workspace.
What permissions are needed?
Accessibility permission lets rcll identify and position app windows.
What about macOS Spaces?
rcll works with windows on the current desktop. It doesn’t move windows between Spaces.
Where are workspaces saved?
On your Mac. No account or cloud sync is required.
