Scope
These terms cover the rcll website and copies of the macOS app supplied by ndrws LLC.
Separate license terms supplied with your copy take precedence where they conflict with this page. App terms form an agreement when presented for your acceptance. If you do not accept the applicable terms, do not install or use that copy.
License
For a copy supplied under these terms, ndrws LLC grants you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to install and use rcll for personal or business tasks on Macs you own or are authorized to use, within the scope supplied with that copy. You may keep reasonable backup copies.
You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute rcll without permission, remove ownership notices, bypass applicable license restrictions, or use it unlawfully, except where an applicable open-source license or the law permits otherwise.
ndrws LLC retains ownership of its app code, branding, and artwork. Third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.
Content ownership
ndrws LLC does not acquire ownership of your documents, code, images, or other app content. Using rcll for commercial work does not require a separate content license from ndrws LLC. The terms of your other apps and services continue to apply.
rcll restores window arrangements; it does not provide document backup or browser-session recovery. You are responsible for saving and backing up your documents.
Permissions and compatibility
rcll requires an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 14 or later. Window placement requires Accessibility permission, which you can revoke in System Settings.
Window behavior depends on macOS and the apps involved. Some windows cannot be identified, resized, or restored reliably. rcll can request that selected apps open saved documents and URLs. Apps control whether they open in tabs or separate windows, and some may require you to choose the matching window. A recalled arrangement may adapt when a display is missing or a window has a minimum size.
rcll operates on the visible desktop and does not move windows between macOS Spaces or recreate other desktops. Compatibility with every app, monitor configuration, or future macOS version is not guaranteed.
drft and other software
Optional drft integration requires a compatible copy of drft. Each app has its own license and permissions. Using rcll does not grant a license to drft or another application.
Third-party apps and services can change independently. ndrws LLC does not control their availability or behavior.
Purchases and updates
The price, included license, device limits, and update entitlement are stated before purchase and at checkout. Refunds follow the terms disclosed at purchase and your statutory consumer rights. These terms do not remove a refund or other remedy required by law.
Updates may change compatibility or system requirements. These terms do not guarantee a particular update schedule or indefinite support. Any additional entitlement supplied with your copy remains subject to its stated terms.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains local workspace information, permissions, drft communication, website data, support correspondence, and deletion choices.
Third-party materials
Included components, fonts, and icons remain subject to their own licenses. These terms do not limit rights granted by those licenses. The website’s Manrope font license and Lucide icon license are available for reference.
Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, rcll and this website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without additional warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the extent permitted by law, ndrws LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, business interruption, or loss of data arising from use of rcll or this website.
These provisions do not exclude fraud, willful misconduct, liability that cannot legally be limited, or any mandatory warranty, guarantee, consumer right, or remedy.
Termination
You may stop using rcll at any time. A license supplied under these terms may end following a material breach, with notice and an opportunity to remedy it where required by law. If the license ends, you must stop using the affected copy. Provisions concerning ownership and responsibility for past use continue where applicable.
Removing the app may leave saved workspaces on your Mac. The Privacy Policy explains how to remove them.
Changes to these terms
Revised terms will carry an updated date. Material changes will be presented for acceptance where required. Changes do not remove rights already granted under an existing license or protections required by law.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
